Q: What is the Big Kick It?
A: The Aggie Big Kick It (ABKI) is TX nonprofit, a committee of the Black Former Student Network, and a student organization under TAMU STUACT that works together to host a homecoming-like weekend for former, current and prospective students and TAMU faculty/staff to network through social events. Q: Do I have to be a certain age to attend the events? A. All Aggies and their families are welcome to attend all ABKI events. If an event is 21+, it will be labeled as such. Q: Can current A&M graduate students who didn't attend A&M for undergrad attend? A: Yes. You, too, are a part of our Aggie Family. Welcome, Whoop and Gig 'em. Q: Is this weekend only for Greeks? Is there a place for me? A. This weekend is open to ALL AGGIES, regardless of Greek/organizational affiliation. |
Q: How does ABKI fund events?
A. All ABKI events are funded through the fundraising efforts of the TX nonprofit and the student committee. We accept individual donations, pledges, company sponsorships and in-kind gifts. Click here for more information. Q: My company wants to donate. Is ABKI a 501 (c)3 organization? A: ABKI is a TX nonprofit. Donations can be made through our ABKI student organization, which receives gifts through the TAMU Foundation, which is a 501 (c)3 organization. For our ABKI student account number, contact us.
